Christmas is coming, guys..... What will be in your stocking? Esox rods if you are lucky.

As I said before, the 6' 6" CD is a great all-around bait caster. The power of these rods is unmatched by any that I have used. I own St. Croix and Loomis rods, but the rods that are now on my boat are Esox. In the picture below you will see one of 3 Northerns that I caught with this rod this past weekend. I got it on a white spinner bait with dual willow blades and a white trailer.

I mentioned the 5' 6" CE rod in my first Product Review. I love to throw crank baits around docks, under overhanging trees, and into other tight places. The pistol grip is perfect for setting the hook one-handed. It got a work out also; 4 largemouth casting around the docks: 2# 7 oz, 2# 3 oz, 3# 2 oz, and 3# 5 oz.

I caught all the largemouth casting a Perch color DT-4 under and around the docks in 3-5' of water.

The 5' 6" rod has the backbone to set the hook hard but the flexibility to "play" the fish without breaking your line. You can't go wrong with these rods. With power when you need it, sensitivity to feel the slightest hit, and flexibility to play the fish, you will have one more thing in your boat besides the highest quality rods: MORE FISH! And, that is what it is all about.

If you are in a position to sell rods, check out their Rod Sponsorship program. Make sure you tell them that you saw this on BassFishingUSA. Check it out.
