There are four things to do when the summer sun is up and hot and the early morning bite is over.

Go home, have a cold drink and a nap.
Fish shade wherever you can find it. Check docks and over hanging trees.
Fish deep. Back off your normal places.
Explore the lake to find new spots. Enjoy the day and find a new area that others may have missed. Find a spot where the jet ski traffic is lighter.
